If you were thinking that it was Heather Locklear, you were wrong. Looks like Amy Locane (now Amy Locane-Bovenizer) will be the one facing the charges. Yeah, I can hear you scratching your head thinking "Who is this Amy Locane chick?". Remember the first season of the show? (The old one, not the new failed attempt at greatness.) Yeah, she was the blond bimbo "actress" that worked at shooters. ("Oh my God, I'm a waitress too, at the bar around the corner. I'm really an actress though" season 1 episode 10). She was gone by episode 13, didn't even make it half a season...
Anyway it is pretty serious and it looks like she could be facing 5 to 10 years in the state pen and have to serve 85% of her sentence. According to the court documents, she was driving a 2007 Tahoe and struck the passenger side of a truck turning into a driveway. Helen Seeman was pronounced dead at the scene; Fred Seeman was flown to a hospital and is in critical condition. :(
She had reportedly rear ended a car in a hit and run shortly before the deadly crash and had also taken out several innocent mailboxes.
See people: Don't drink and drive, it is not worth it.
Katie Cassidy will be moving to the Upper East Side next fall as she appears on the CW's Gossip Girl. She will be the new love interest for Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford).
Thursday, 13 May 2010, The CW announced their fall lineup and noticeably lacking was Melrose Place. :(
I have not heard that this is the final word, there could be a surprise release next January, but that is not something that I will be holding my breath for. It's very unfortunate, but the new show was such a departure from the original that I can not say that I am entirely surprised. I am still bummed though since I did like the new show.
It looks like Heather Locklear may be looking at some jail time. Remember back when she got arrested for a DWI? Well, now it looks like she may have been involved in a hit and run!
FINALLY something Interesting to post! The CW has released a new promo announcing the return of Melrose Place on Tuesday March 9th. Only a couple of weeks to go, but after so long away from the show it seems like forever.
Rob Estes who formerly played Kyle McBride on the original Melrose Place and who now plays Harry Wilson on the new 90210 has announced that he will be leaving 90210 show at the end of this season. This could potentially leave him open to picking up his former role as Kyle McBride on the new Melrose Place.
